I tried it a couple of times, and the 2nd time got further progress than the first, but still didn’t complete. In fact, patching isn’t a native capability of Intune at all. That means it has a lot more features than WSUS, not just patching. I also checked the WSUS console and started a synchronization and in the wsus console, i see that the result keeps saying cancelled. Intune, like SCCM, is a full-featured configuration management and policy tool that attempts to secure your entire organization by creating access policies for cloud and BYOD devices. I reenabled the service and now it’s saying sync completed in sccm, but still don’t see the 22H2 updates. I tried doing a software update sync from configmgr which was failing, then i found out the guy disabled the wsus service. The issue I’m having is that windows 10 22H2 updates aren’t in sccm, and I’m trying to deploy the update using a servicing plan like I have always done previously when feature updates were released. I just performed an upgrade to 2207, because we had the yellow banner saying the previous version was no longer supported. Purpose: This article has been written to help you understand the existing Patch management with help us to understand Office365 Client management via SCCM. The guy we had was trying to implement a new patching tool, that he never got running in production, and he never updated config manager and screwed up some of the sccm setup. The guy recently quit, and after almost a year I’m trying to get our patching up to date until they find a replacement. I use to manage SCCM for my company, but we hired someone to focus solely on patching while I focused on other projects.
